A result is an index record, not a new family
Selecting S3 in the Spirit Index currently returns 57 records. Initial, evolved, and final stages can each have their own page. Regional, leader, or other independent forms may also appear separately. The number therefore does not mean 57 brand-new families or 57 spirits available to catch immediately.
Open a detail page and follow the evolution chain when counting families or planning a build. Check habitat, acquisition, and evolution requirements before travelling; some records come from story, encounters, events, or evolution rather than direct capture.
For team building, combine season with role-relevant filters. Compare a short list in Compare and inspect damage distribution, speed, durability, skills, and traits. Total base stats are only a starting sort.
If fewer than 57 results appear, clear old attribute, form, egg-group, and search filters. A season tag describes index membership, not strength or immediate availability.
