RocoDex

Editorial & Data Policy

This page explains where RocoDex information comes from, how it is transformed, what may be publicly indexed, and how corrections are handled. Last revised: July 17, 2026.

1. Content types and responsibility

RocoDex is an unofficial fan reference and does not represent the game developer or publisher. The RocoDex Editorial Team maintains three content types: structured reference pages, interactive tools, and editorial guides.

Reference pages expose fields and relationships; tools calculate from the inputs and rules stated on the page; guides must provide complete steps, scope, limitations, and checkable references.

2. Sources and conflict priority

Season data uses kikozz/Roco-Kingdom-World-Data as the primary configuration source at a recorded commit. When non-empty spirit display fields conflict, BWiki takes priority; the repository supplies game IDs, configuration links, and cross-checks.

BWiki material is used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with source and retrieval records. Other community guides may inform topics or cross-checks, but are not republished without substantial RocoDex organization and added value.

3. Automation and image processing

Scripts automate normalization, ID mapping, stat totals, WebP conversion, R2 upload, and link checks. Automation provides repeatable processing; it is not an independent factual endorsement.

Ambiguous mappings, source conflicts, and missing images enter a manual queue. Missing images are not fabricated, and spirit lists and detail pages use artwork rather than third-party hotlinks.

4. Publishing, indexing, and corrections

A guide that is too short, contains corrupted text, or merely restates an external source is excluded from guide navigation, prerendering, and the sitemap; retired URLs return 404. Database detail pages remain noindex while they lack independent interpretation.

Pages identify editorial responsibility and revision dates. When a report includes the page URL, game version, and supporting screenshot, the editorial team checks the sources, corrects the page, and updates synchronization records where needed.
