Phase 1: Tutorial
The tutorial consists of 8 steps, focusing on three key tasks: choosing your starter pet, earning RocoBucks, and learning basic controls. We recommend picking Firespark — it offers the smoothest early-game experience.
Phase 2: Early Progression
Once in-game, follow the guided main questline. Along the way, two important tasks will trigger: adding friends (requires a 5-hour wait for mutual add) and spending 1 million RocoBucks (use the coin machine on Peter Avenue to claim 990,000 for free). Handle these early to avoid getting stuck later.
Phase 3: Efficient Leveling
Unlock the Magic Handbook and complete all lessons immediately — this is the biggest XP source early on. Also make good use of the Spirit Pokédex system: catch every new spirit you encounter, as each one gives up to 800 XP — much faster than grinding mobs.
Phase 4: Resource Stockpiling
Use stamina efficiently on stages: prioritize Rare Beast stages for uncollected spirits; challenge Area Bosses for spirit eggs and XP; visit Coastal Ruins to pick up coins and use coin machines for free resources.
